My name is Cressy (Steve Cresswell) and I’m the owner of The Bah Bait & Tackle in Moranbah and Dingo Beach.

I Bloody love fishing, I could fish all day in a dried up dam, catch nothing but a cold and still have a ripper of a time.

Living in a mining town 2 hours from the coast means I only get a few good trips to the reef a year, that’s why when its on, we go hard.. The problem was finding good Quality Gear and Bait. Thats why I started The Bah Bait and Tackle. I’m a strong believer that the best gear is made right here in Aus. We specialize in working with Aussie Companies. We work alongside Legends like Daves castnets, Elkat Fishing, Coucoms Crab Pots, Gaff Man and Iron & Bark Cookers. That’s just to name a few. These guys make the best quality gear right in their own backyards.

When it comes to bait, we only Stock the best. Most of our Bait is sourced locally throughout the Whitsunday's and a lot of it is ex Food grade. Working with local pro’s like Reelmans Bait, Fishi, Roweys Bait and many more.

We also work with some Awesome international companies like Catch Fishing NZ bringing us ultimate Jigging and Fishing gear.

We product test all the gear that goes through the shop to ensure we stock only the best.
